AdJourney

AdJourney is an advertising design firm based in Southern Pines, NC. We do planning, marketing, and advertising for companies and products via traditional channels - seeing projects to completion from ideation, design, development, to implementation. We also do graphic design, and web development.

1. What problems does AdJourney solve for our customers?

Effective communication of a product (goods, ideas or services) by use of proper media channels, compelling message, arresting presentataion, and consistant image that ties back to the concerted efforts of the business, its brand image, and other outlets of client contact.

2. Who is AdJourney's typical or target audience?

a. Those who are dissatisfied with lack of personal attention from prior agencies - whose bottom line was their own pocketbook percentages with no concern for the best price negotiated on behalf of the client. Frustration with agencies who did not take the time to understand the nuances of their business, from fragmented market profiles (who you are after) to seasonality (best time to reach them). Disatisfied with the agency atmosphere where you are one among twenty large accounts, and of no particular importance.

b. Thoe who have a wholesome product that they stand behind with passion and ferver. If the company is truly sold on its product, the promotion and communication of the product almost carries itself. We are there to find the right channels in which to let the message be carried, phrase the passion into words, and illuminate the contagion with effective imagery.

c. Someone who values good advertising and appreciates the time to create excellent ideas and communicate them effectively. Someone who knows their business better than anyone else, and who is willing to sahre their insight with the agency trying to help them reach their target market.

3. How does AdJourney communicate with its target audience?

Personally. AdJourney is a small ad agency consisting of Brian and Rebekah Sykes. We are personnally involved with every project, in every nuance - from the first meetings, brainstorms, proposals, development, to implementation. We work hand-in-hand with the customer and are there to tweak and tune our efforts and best laid plans as new variables emerge.

4. What products and/or services does AdJourney provide?

We do advertising - which is any paid form of communication. We consider a central part of advertising to be a plan that fits the client's budget, market, and product. We determine in our initial meetings the big picture goals we are out to accomplish - then determine a plan to make that happen. Oh, and by the way - we absolutely love this job!

Along with advertising, we work through contacts developed in the channels we pursue and develop promotional opportunities for our clients. From press releases to full cover stories - we find unique ways to garner extra attention and promote your business and product effectively.

On the design side, many of my clients are small business owners who only do a periodic ad, brochure, or are in need of a new identity system. If it involves fresh ideas, graphic treatment, or communication efforts - we can help or point you to someone who can.

5. Where is AdJourney located?

We are in Southern Pines, NC. Currently residing at 105 East New Jersey Ave. Phone is 910.693.7934. Cell is 910.783.5905.

6. What hours do we operate?

We have three boys with another boy on the way, a yard full of animals, and a wonderful marriage on its 10th year. We have a life outside of the business and so usually close up shop at 5PM. Brian has been known to pull all nighters many times to get a job done - so we do not mind doing what it takes to get your job done. Brian is usually in the office at 6 to read emails and set his track for the day. Officially the day starts at 8AM.
