graphic design …
The practice or profession of designing print or electronic forms of
visual information, as for an advertisement, publication, or website.
The
American Heritage® Dictionary
of the English Language: Fourth Edition. 2000.
Why have a seperate category for graphic design when
it is covered by logos, advertising, and web development? Because many
times, even though we tell people we do advertising and web development
- the next inevitable quesiton is - "so, do you do graphic design or
something?"
Yes.
The idea we wish to emphasize here, is design. Graphically
(meaning through manipulation of visual elements) we design (shape for
a specific purpose and proposed outcome) your project. Are we good at
it? We think so,and feel our clients success can in some ways be attributed
to our part in helping them with their communication efforts - visually
and strategically. After all, it would not be graphic design, if it
did not involve the design side. . .
Brian received a degree in Commercial Art, while Rebekah
majored in English and minored in Graphic Design.
