portfolio: audio / video

In traditional advertising, there is a category for radio / TV and a separate for motion / video. The internet and plethora of mediums for video and audio distribution tends to break down those seperations, and so I have made my category a little more comprehemsive (though I am not currently including radio ads, and other video work in the porfolio.) I call this section audio / video with no emphasis on the delivery.

Audio, video, radio - the mediums rely on storytelling to be effective. This mediums complexity should be handled much like a great painting - strip everything away that is not needed to tell the story. When you have just the essence of what you are trying to say - then deliver it. Distractions water down the message.

I decided to include just one file in this category. The attached video is part of the OPEDIX merchandiser. This is what plays in one of the battery based video unit you can see in the misc. category of the portfolio in the Case Study.
