In the Bible, the Apostle John says of Jesus: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. - John 1:1. The "Word"- as referenced in this passage - is the Greek word LOGOS. Its definition was a word or something declared that embodied a concept or an idea. Of course in this passage John was referring to Christ. The origin for our word logo is from the Greek word LOGOS.

A logo today is understood to be the concept or idea of something represented in graphical form. An emblem, a mark, a crest... it is a visual cue ( and often the first point of contact a customer makes with you or your brand). It sets the tone and reflects the identity of and essence of your busines or product. The logo is your brand's front-running salesman. What is your logo doing for you?
